Overview:
Our client, a leading Canadian insurance company is launching its next major finance transformation initiative under the IFRS 18 regulatory framework. Building on
the success of IFRS 17, this project is time-sensitive, with end-to-end testing targeted for Q1 2026 and full implementation by Q2 2026. Business-as-usual (BAU) activities are expected to continue into 2027. We are seeking a Business Analyst with deep financial systems expertise and insurance domain knowledge to support this transformation.

Responsabilits principales :
- Diriger les sances de collecte des exigences avec les parties prenantes des finances et de la comptabilit.
- Documenter les exigences d'affaires, les flux de processus et les spcifications fonctionnelles.
- Collaborer avec les quipes TI pour concevoir et mettre en ?uvre des amliorations aux systmes financiers.
- Soutenir l'intgration et la configuration des systmes en conformit avec IFRS 17/18.
- Traduire des concepts financiers et rglementaires complexes en exigences techniques exploitables.
- Raliser des analyses d'carts et recommander des amliorations de processus.
- Participer aux tests d'acceptation utilisateur (UAT), la formation et au soutien post-implantation.
- Assurer la cohrence et l'intgrit des donnes sur les plateformes de rapports financiers.
Comptences essentielles :
- 5+ annes d'exprience en analyse d'affaires avec de solides comptences en documentation et en engagement des parties prenantes.
- Exprience pratique avec des systmes financiers tels qu'Oracle, SAP ou Microsoft Dynamics.
- Bonne comprhension des principes comptables et financiers - comptes fournisseurs, comptes clients, grand livre, plan comptable.
- Exprience en rapports financiers et IFRS 17 (exprience IFRS 18 est un atout).
Atouts :
- Dsignation CPA ou certifications en analyse d'affaires.
- Exprience avec IFRS 18 ou audits rglementaires similaires.
- Connaissance des flux de travail financiers spcifiques l'assurance et des structures de rapports.
- Exprience en assurance collective ou en assurance IARD.

- Conduct gap analyses and recommend process improvements.
- Participate in UAT, training, and post-implementation support.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across financial reporting platforms.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience with strong documentation and stakeholder engagement.
- Hands-on experience with financial systems such as Oracle, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Solid understanding of Accounting and Finance principles - AP, AR, GL, Chart of Accounts.
- Exposure to Finance Reporting and IFRS 17 (IFRS 18 experience is a plus).
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- CPA designation or Business Analysis certifications.
